Almost every city in America has a BBQ restaurant, but we have a true original in Famous Willies on 7th St. Stop in and enjoy some of the best Texas/Cajun Barbecue in the Northwest. The crew at Famous Willies smoke and cook their meats on-site and every pie is made from scratch...you can taste the difference!
Old European on Schneidmiller Ave. is a favorite destination for breakfast and brunch. From the French press coffee to the fresh-squeezed orange juice, Swedish crepes and blackberry brandy syrup, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Stop in and enjoy elaborate finishings from the lights and molding to the fireplace and comfy couches while you try their Belgium-style beers. Locals claim the Tripel and Infidel are the best, but try a flight and sample 8 different beers yourself! - Falls Park
Enjoy a short hike and take in the scenery at Falls Park, just off 4th Ave. Locals and tourists alike can take in the views of the gorge, the dam and the falls. Children can enjoy feeding the ducks and watching the fish swim in the pond. - Up North Distillery
Up North might be the only distillery in the state where you can order a cocktail, buy a bottle to go and watch the action of the still. Take the time to try a flight of whiskey, gin, or vodka to compare. They also offer local beers and wine you can enjoy during the live music the first Friday of each month. - Buck Knives Plant Tour
Take the time to tour the Buck Knives Plant and you won’t be disappointed. This free attraction includes an earbud and headset so you can hear the tour guide while seeing the factory in action. The tour ends at the small upstairs museum with lots of Buck memorabilia – and don’t forget to bring your knife with you for sharpening services!
